Shopping, Books, Rubber Bands, and Football

Listening To: I Constantly Thank God For Esteban by Panic! At The Disco
Feelin': Pain

For this new school year, I was in desperate need for new Jeans. So my sis and I went to the mall area and went clothes shopping. We went to Khol's first and I got 2 pairs of jeans and 2 shirts. I've been wanting faded and distressed jeans, which are the ones with the rips and stuff like that. One of the pairs I got was really distressed and the other pair had 2 small rips. Tony Hawk's line of clothing is pretty cool, so I got 2 of those shirts. We left there and went in the mall ad we first stopped at American Eagle. Stuff there is kinda expensive, and I had a limit to how much I could spend, so I just got a shirt and a pair of jeans. My sis got a few pairs of jeans and a few shirts. Aeropastale was next on our list and there I got 3 shirts. Joyce went to Maurice's and the Vanity, which are both just women's clothes so I didn't really find anything I liked there. I wanted to stop at Steve & Barry's, and there I got 4 of the shirts that button up the front, and 5 shirts that would go underneath, and I would roll up the sleeves and leave them unbuttoned, and I really like them! Our shopping trip was done I was happy with what I got.

A while ago I finished that series I told you all about. The best series I have ever read, without a doubt. The ending was great, and there is another series by the same author, called The Prophecy Series. It is about the 4 clans again but the story is based about a new cat. It has all the Kits and apprentices that were in the first series and is now mainly about them, a new generation. Barnes & Noble only had the first 2 and were in hardcover, and I want paperback. There are like 4 out I think so my mom will order the first 3 wich will all be in paper back. I can't wait until they get here!

Yesterday, I had an Orthodontics appointment, and I got new wires on my braces. But now, I have to have a small rubber band running from the back tooth and the bottom up to a tooth on the side on the top. When the girl who put the new wires on, she kinda yanked them after a little bit. OW! That's my mouth you're yanking on! So now my whole mouth is in pain and part of that is sleeping with the rubber band on. I have to change the rubber bands 4 times a day, and I am not exactly looking forward to that...

Tonight I have a football meeting and I get to pick up my pads and stuff. They will tell us about what is going on like when the practices are and stuff like that. I am really excited cuz next week we start practice!

I Love These Books!

Listening To: The Riddle by Five For Fighting
Feelin: Happy

When my family picked me up from SpringHill Summer Camps, back in June, my mom got me these 3 books and were the first 3 in the series. The title of the Series was
Warriors and the author was Erin Hunter. I started the first one a couple weeks after I got them and Monday, my mom got me the next 3 in the series cuz I finished the other ones. I have to say, this is my favorite series I have ever read. They are so good! They're about these 4 clans of cats that live in the wild and one clan takes in a kittypet (house cat) and they're about his life in the wild. I strongly reccomed them! Weekend With The Boys

Listening To: Invisible by Ashlee Simpson
Feelin': Tired

On Friday I went over to my grandma's and as soon as I got there we went swimming at my Aunt's. Rogan and Austin were there so we played together and my Aunt Janet who had the boys, asked if I wanted to spend the night with them. Of course, I said yes. So she picked me up at my Gandma's and we went back to my house to pick up some clothes. From my house we went back to her's and then we went blueberry picking. Rogan loved it and didn't want to stop, it was funny:) We went back to her house and we went for a four-wheeler ride and took some blueberries to my Grandparents. We played for a while and ate dinner. When we went to bed, we slept out in their camping trailer, just Rogan, Austin and I. I read them some stories and ten we went to bed. The next day we had blueberry pancakes for breakfast, yum! WE played for a while again and then headed into town to the fairgrounds. They had some miniature horse shows going on and my Aunt helped with one of the horse's costume so that as what we came to see. Well, when we got there they were still a long way from the costume horses. We hung out for a while and watched the show and then left for Little Ceasar's for lunch. When we cam back we had to wait about 10 minutes and then finally the costumes came out. The one that my Aunt helped with came in first place! So we left there and went home. We went swimming and there was a marathon of Scooby Doo on tv and the boys wanted to watch that. My Aunt asked if I wanted to spend the night again so I said sure. We slept out in the trailer again. The next morning we went to Lil' Chef and had breakfast. We went for another four-wheeler ride that day and went swimming again. It rained that day REALLY hard for like 10 minutes and then it stopped. Later that night they came over to our pond and went for a canoe ride. Then they left cuz my aunt had to take them back home in Detroit today. It was an awesome weekend!

Michigan's Adventure

Listening To: London Bridge by Fergie
Feelin': good

So on staurday morning my dad and I, just the 2 of us, headed to Muskegon and went to Michigan's Adventure for the day. We got there like 20 min. after they opened and hit the water park first. We went on water slides and the wave pool where in a big pool this wall like sends HUGE waves out and you can ride them and stuff wich was fun. But my favorite water ride was called Funnel Of Fear. It took about 45 min to an hour to wait in line but it was worth it! You start out on an intertube that fits about 6 people and then go on a slide and it goes up and down then you shoot down and come out into this huge funnel that was about 4 stories tall and you shoot up about a third of the way and came down and then back and forth until it dies down and you end in a small pool to exit. IT WAS AWESOME!! Then I hit the wave pool a few more times and then dried off and I got my clothes on. My dad and I hit 3 rides at the amusement park cuz we were tired after a long day at the waterpark. One was called Logger's Run and you are on these log type boats and the water takes you around kinda slowly and then you shoot down and get splashed, it was okay. Then we hit one called Wolverine Wildcat. It was a coaster and it was a smaller version of another coaster called Shivering Timbers. On Shivering Timbers (wich was more fun) you go really fast and go slowly up hills and shoot down and you do it over and over again. My dad didn't really like it cuz it hurt his neck :( So then we left and got a hotel in Grand Rapids. It took us about 20 min to a half hour to find the hotel. We saw it but couldn't find the road that lead to it and when we finally got there there all out of rooms! Luckily there was a Holiday Inn Express about 2 min away that had rooms. We got to our room and it was obviously a smoking room so we had to get a different room. We both showered up and went to a Logan's Roadhouse. I got some babyback ribs that were to die for. The were so good! We got a takeout ice cream at Coldstone Creamery and went back to the hotel and ate it while watching a movie on TNT. I fell asleep before it was over with though ;) So the next morning we woke up and went to the local IHOP cuz I was craving a good Belgian waffle, what kind of hotel breakfast doesn't have a waffle maker?!? So we drove around and we found that IHOP. Then we just kinda drove around and the went to a West Michigan Whitecaps game. We were a lil early and on the way in we saw an AJ's Family Fun Center that had putt putt golf. We did that and then watched the game. Whitecaps won, wich was cool. When we got home we were so tired that a slept like a baby, and if felt good!

A Lil' Bit Of Catch Up

Listening To: But It's Better If You Do by Panic! At The Disco
Feelin': My feet hurt and I'm tired

So on Monday we had a big storm and we lost power. We were just starting to light the candles and we looked out side and the wind was blowing like crazy and the tops of the trees were swaying back and forth really hard and fast. My mom said that we should go in the basement so we brought down a board game and started playing it. We were down there for about 10 min. and the wind stopped so we went back upstairs. Tuesday my dad and I went to my grandparents who live 5 min. away so they also were without power. They had there water hooked up and my dad wanted to know how to do that. So my dad got that hooked up to the generator along with our T.V. and fridge. That night my grandparents got there power back so when my dad got home at midnight he hooked it up and we had power, on the day when we had just gotten our generator up and was prepared for another few days. Figures.

My Aunts and Uncles and grandparents all live right close to eachother, being seperated by a field. Beacause of the storm, a lot of trees were down over there. So my cousin that lives about an hour and a half away drove himself up here to help and to spend time with my family, right on the week end my dad and I will be gone. Figures. So today I went over and helped him out and hung out with him too. First we moved a big pile of rocks for my grandma. Then we had lunch and started using the DR Brushmower on our riding trails. He used the mower while I went and clipped the overhanging branches that would be in the way of my grandparent's golfcart and everyone else's quads.

So if you don't know that I love to swim, then you obviously don't know me very well. It seems like that every night I'm always asking my parents to take me swimming at my Aunt's inground pool who lives about 5 min. away too. Tonight my mom took me swimming! This Summer I taught myself how to swim underwater without plugging my nose. Wich means I can now dive the right way:

So tomorrow my dad and I are leaving for Michigan Adventures. We're leaving at about 8:30 cuz the park doesn't open up till 11:00 and it takes about 2 and a half hours to get there. We're gonna find a hotel and then hit the water oark till it closes at 7:00. Then we're gonna go to the amusement park until whenever we feel like leaving. Then we'll go back and watch tv and chill until we fall asleep. The next day we'll go have brunch or whatever cuz at 2:00 we're gonna see that ball game and then come home. My bags are packed and only 13 hours separates us from that water park...

Splitting' Wood

Listening To: Hips Don't Lie by Shakira
Feelin: Sore and Excited

So lately my dad and I have been out cutting down trees and then using our wood splitter to chop em up. Then we load them into a trailer on our tractor and stack the pile in the trailer. It's been really hot out lately though. Today, the feel temp was 99 degrees! It can be kinda miserable. We stopped and came back to our house to have lunch and it was so hard to get back into it to finish the job. My dad says that it'll help get me in shape for football season comin' up and he really appreciates all the help I give him. It also helps heat our water and our house and stuff cuz we have a woodstove. It'll all pay off though cuz next weekend we're going to Michigan Adventures on Saturday and staying in a hotel and the next day we're gonna see a West Michigan Whitecaps baseball game. It's a minor league team wich is like a step below the Tigers and all them. Right now though my dad and I are going over to my Aunt's house to go swimming. I LOVE to go swimming and want to go almost every day so I'm always excited when someone will take me.

Pirates

Listening to: My sis watching TV
Feeling: Bored

So on Saturday me, my mom and my sis went to see Pirates Of The Carribean: Dead Man's Chest. It was so good! The special effects were awesome, like with Davy Jones and his crew, pretty sweet. I liked the part where Will Turner and commodore Norrington were fighting in the big wheel, it was cool. I hate how it just ended, it's driving me crazy cuz I wanna know what they're gonna do with the heart. I don't know if I'll be able to wait 'til next Summer.

Ben Wallace, I'm Very Dissapointed In You!

Listening To: The TV
Feeling: Dissapointed

I can't beleive that Ben Wallace did that! He left the Pistons over 10 million dollars. Detroit offered him 50 mil. for 4 years and Chicago offered him 60 mil. for 4 years. He won the Defensive Player Of The Year 4 out of the 6 years he was with the Pistons. Does he not see what all he has with the Pistons??? Ben was my basketball hero. He was awesome, and he left. I bought 2 jerseys of his, so much for them:( My mom and Dad got me a big bobble head of him for Christmas with a PISTONS jersey on, not a Bulls jersey! He should stay with his home.
