Some Stuff

Listening To: Afraid by Nelly Furtado feat. Attitude
Feeling: MY FEET ARE KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!

So today Beth had a party. It was really fun, I had a blast. We hung out at her house for a while then we went to the ice arena and went ice skating. I pretty much sucked... but I think I could have done better if I had better skates. The 9's were to bug and I could barely get my foot in the 8's but I finally managed to get it in there and they were still loose. I knew I wouldn't be able to get my foot in the 7's so I just wore the 8's. WE all stopped a lot and talked and laughed, it was really fun. But right now my feet are killing me and it hurts to walk. I'm sure I'll have blisters in the morning even though I wore two pair of socks. Oh well.

At Molly's blog she talks about a couple things that she got from me. One thing is where she talks about the song "Afraid" by Nelly Furtado, (I was the "friend by the way). The song is really cool, you should check it out. Here's why:
(1). The song is cool
(2). The beat is cool
(3). There is a kid choir at the end which is kinda cool
(4). The message is true. It kinda says like just don't worry about what others think and just do what you want. That's how a lot of kids feel and that should be changed. I think it should be her next single.

Another thing Molly talked about is the new year thing. I got that from one of my friend's AIM profiles. I thought it was funny and I fell for it so here it is:

You Know You Live in 2006 When...
1. you accidentally enter your password on a microwave
2. you haven't played solitaire with real cards in years
3. the reason for not staying in touch with your friends is that they don't have a screen name or a MySpace
4. you'd rather look all over the house for the remote instead of just pushing the button on the TV
6. your boss doesn't even have the ability to do your job
7. you read this list & keep nodding and smiling
8. as you read this list, you think about sending it to all your friends
9. and you were too busy to notice # 5
10. you actually looked up to check if there was a # 5
11. and now you re laughing at your self stupidity

Well that's about it, I'm probly gonna go do something to my feet that will help make it fell better... though I don't quite know what that would be yet. ttyl!

A Very Merry Christmas!

Listening To: Afraid by Nelly Furtado
Feeling: Great

Wow! I can't believe Christmas has come and gone already! My Christmas was the best, I love everything I got. Here is what I got: First of all, when everyone was up and about and ready to go, Joyce and I did our stockings. I got Chocolate, Non Violent Politically Correct War ( It's like regular war but the kings and queens and stuff are like hippies), some darts for the dart tag gun as a joke, and a CMU key chain thing that u can wear around your neck, I don't really have any keys to put on it, but I'll find something! Then in the presents I got a game called Pirates Dice, it's like the game that they played in Pirates Of The Caribbean 2 when Will challenged the captain that was an Octopus on the Flying Dutchmen, and another DVD called Friday Night Lights. I got a book called Dog: The Autobiography Of A Stray by Ann Martin, a CMU winter hat, a CMU glossy football, and a CMU Basketball tank-top thing, it feels like under armour stuff. And, what I had to open last, A MOTOROLA RAZR!!!!!! I was so not expecting that! I love it so much, so everyone, if you wanna talk to me, CALL THE CELL! That's all from my mom, dad, and sis.

From the family i got, an electric ice shaver to make Icees, about $90 in cash which brings me up to $145. I'm saving up for a Nintendo Wii. I got Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest DVD, a $20 gift card to B&N, and another Pirates 2 DVD, but I took that back to Wal-Mart and got a gift card there cuz i didn't have the receipt. THANKS SO MUCH EVERYONE!!!

A Pretty Sweet Wedensday!

Listening To: Grind With Me by Pretty Ricky
Feeling: Happy

Let's start out with Monday, in Home Ec, we cooked our soups. We had 4 different groups, and there were 4 different soups: Bunkhouse Chili (i made that), Broccoli Cheese Soup, Quick Beef Soup, and Chicken noodle soup. Bunkhouse was REALLY good and I had fun making. I'm gonna make it over Winter break for my family.

On to Wednesday, I had so much fun! It started out this morning with my mom and I waking up at 5:45. We got ready and went down town and got some donuts at Hamiltons and got coffee at Espresso Milano. We ate at espresso and it was really nice to just be with my mom. Then at school today was Santa Hat Day. Walking down the hall way I saw so many red hats! It was also the last day of school before winter break so we had the first 4 periods of class then after lunch, we got to pick a room to go see a movie. There was Ice Age 2, Polar Express, and Napoleon Dynamite. I saw Ice Age 2 with my friends Beth, Lizzie, Brando, and Zack. It was a lot of fun, and afterwards in AC, no one had any homework so we played Heads Up 7 Up and just screwed around. So much fun. Then after school, my cuz, Michelle, picked me up from school and we went to the Community Center and changed into gym clothes, paid to play racket ball, and waited for Mike and Joyce to get there. Once they were both there, we went to our room and started playing and it was SO MUCH FUN! It was different teams both games and i won both my games. Ha ha! One time, I was going for the ball, and i completely BODY SLAMMED the wall. It hurt but it was really funny.

I got invited to a Christmas party at Beth;s Monday. We're gonna go tobogganing (if there's any snow...) and then back to her house and have a White Elephant Gift Exchange and then just hang out i guess. It's gonna be a blast!

Parties!

Listening To: Honestly by Cartel
Feeling: Good

So lately not a lot has been going on. But today my school had a party. A few weeks ago we had a big fundraiser to help pay for trips and stuff. Of course there were prizes for the things you sold. The more you sold, the better the prize. I sold 15 things, so I got to attend the party. I totally forgot about the party, and we had no warning until they told us that it was this afternoon. It was really fun, it was in the gym and they had like 4 big inflatable things. One was a velcro wall (not very fun, the suits u put on wouldn't stick to the wall), one was just an obstacle course, and one was really big had two lanes and you would put on this vest that was attached to the bungee cord. You would have to run down the lane and try to stick a velcro cube to the end. It was so much fun, if u jumped at from the very end, you would get flung backwards. I fell so many times on purpose!

Tomorrow my friend, Jake, is having a birthday party. His mom is picking us all up after school and we're going bowling. Then we're going back to his house for cake, ice cream, and presents. I already got his gift, but i can't say in case he might read this post! Then another friend and I are spending the night at his house. In the morning, the other friend and I both have basketball games at the high school and Jake is taking us to that. My parents are picking me up after that and we're going home.

Saturday, after my games, my second cousins Rogan and Austin are having their Christmas with the family. Rogan is 4 I think and he's so cute. So is Austin. My cousin is Rogan's mom and Rogan's dad and my cuz are divorced and Rogan is with his dad on christmas. Austin is my cousin's fiance's son and he and Rogan get along really well. It'll be a lot of fun!

Better, But I Still Can't Play

Listening To: Same
Feeling Much Better

Well I'm better and back to school. Didn't have too much homework so that's good. But what's not good is that I found out that my basketball team (#2) is playing at halftime of tonight's JV men;s basketball game. My parents said I can't play, which sucks cuz I want to so bad. I have practice tomorrow (#1) and it'll be the last time we get together until January and I probably won't be able to to play that either.

Getting Better

Listenin To: You Don't Know by Eminem, 50 Cent, Cashis Lloyd Banks
Feeling: Better *cough cough*

Well on the bright side I am getting better. I should be going to school Monday. Still coughing but I can't do anything about it. Oh well.

On the down side I can't play in my game Monday. My mom and dad said no. It really sucks cuz I was looking forward to playing after doing nothing and being cooped up in this house all week. Plus we play the best team in the league Monday. My parents said I can still go and sit on the bench with the team, and it's gonna kill me not being able to go out there and play. Oh well.

Last night my mom, Joyce and I went and saw the winter play at our High School. It was A Christmas Carol. It as pretty good, we have a couple of REALLY good actors at our school. My mom kept talking about one and how his performance was good enough to be Hollywood material, and one of his scenes was when she really got lost in the play. I agree I guess.

Right now my mom and dad are shopping for Christmas presents right now for Joyce, me and the family. Joyce and I both gave them our lists. Here's mine:

Well This Sucks

Listening To: Nothing, I have a headache right now
Feeling: Crappy

Monday morning I woke up with a tight chest and a little bit of a stomach ache. I felt that way through out the whole day at school, and when I got home it got even worse. My chest felt tighter, my stomach ache got worse, and I was really cold, even though my forehead and the back of my neck were burning up. My mom made me some chicken noodle soup, and I went to bed at 7:30. I woke up so many times through out the night, and one time I ran to the toilet thinking I was gonna puke. I didn't, but it was a close one. I stayed home Tuesday and that's when the coughing started kicking in. I just felt like crap the whole day. Wednesday, my mom took me into Urgent Care, and, after waiting for an hour, the doctor told me that i had Pneumonia. This is a very bad illness and I had it once before when I was in first grade... not very much fun to go through. The doctor told me that I had to stay home Thursday and Friday, that I couldn't play basketball Saturday morning, and ONLY if I was feeling super great, that I could play basketball Monday night. He put me on two medications and said that after I am feeling much better, I'll still be coughing for at least a month. It's hard to sleep at night because when I lay down, the coughing gets worse and the coughing keeps me up. After sitting or laying for a while, if I stand up my head is very dizzy and I get a pounding headache. I don't have an appetite for anything, but I know that I have to eat. My taste buds are off so that makes everything taste weird. Also, I am missing the 3rd school dance that's today after school. This sucks...

YAY! "White Stuff"

Listening To: Los Angelous by Sugarcult
Feeling: Tired

Last night was SO much fun! We went to our friend's house, it was so good to see them. We really need to do it more often. But Canice made Lasagna (which was REALLY good by the way) and we brought brownies(home-made), ice cream, and fudge for dessert. Us 5 kids (not including my sis, she's an adult now!) played and it was a blast. Right before we left, we went in their indoor hot tub. We dared each other to go out in the snow and do like snow angels and just run around and then jump back in the tub. IT BURNED! But I was the dare king! (Ha ha Molly).

This morning I had a basketball game. We played one of the teams that weren't that great. I had another double-double! I don;t know exactly how many rebounds and points i had, but I had at least over 15 points my mom said. I was a little cold at first, but after a while, I was on fire! lol. When we got home I had to shovel the side walks, and then my dad tied the sled to the back of the 4-Wheeler and he pulled me around ALL OVER our 80 acres! Over hills, through puddles, which got me soaked, butt ALL wet and cold!, and down our road too! It was a blast!

P.S.
Like the new template?!?!

No School Baby!

Listening To: I'm not quite sure... my sis burned me a CD
Feeling: So happy and warm!

So this morning my mom woke me up at 5:45, turned off my alarm, and told me that there was no school and to go back to sleep. I woke up again at 8:30. It felt so good! We had a snow day today! Well, actually it's more of an ice/snow day. Right now I'm wearing my pajama pants and a t-shirt, and I could be in Math right now! I'm so happy cuz we were going to have 5 tests today! Ha ha to everyone who had school today.

Ahhh, As November Ends, So Does NaBloPoMo

Listening To: Through Glass by Stone Sour
Feeling: Warm and Happy

So it's the last day of November, and the last day of NaBloPoMo too. It was really cool blogging every day of the month. I went from blogging like once every 3 weeks, to every day* for 30 days. :)

Tonight we went out to Mt. Pleasant and first we went to Staples. I had to get school supplies cuz the stuff I had was falling apart. Afterwards, we went to Old Navy cuz Aunt Sandy got me a $25 gift card there. I got this really cool, fuzzy, warm sweater thing. My mom says it's a cardigan, but then I feel like Mr. Rogers... I'm going to wear it tomorrow to school and to our friend's house. Can't wait to see them too!

*Oops... I guess I forgot that I missed 2 days. I missed the 1st because I went to a friend's house after school so his mom could take us to basketball practice, and I didn't get home until late so I had to shower & go to bed (school night, you know). I missed the 5th because that evening Blogger had a server error... & I had to go to bed (school night, you know). Sometimes it's tough being a 12-year-old blogger!

Basketball Game & Other Stuff

Listening To: Fergalicious by Fergie
Feeling: A little sore but good

Tonight I had another basketball game. It was a re-scheduled game for next week, so we won't have one. We started off really good, but it just went downhill from there. We had SO many turn overs and lost by like 12. Oh well we just had a bad night. But, on the bright side, I scored like 7 points and had a bunch of rebounds!

Tonight Day Break is on in place of Lost. It's pretty good. Looking forward to watching it.

Tonight my mom told me that we're going to our friend's house on Friday. I'm looking forward to it!

Next Thursday is our dance, and I'm looking forward to that too. Should be a lot of fun.

Nothing Happening

Listening To: Nothin
Feeling: Good

Tonight I had basketball practice for team 2. It was fun but I was kinda off. I don't know why. Tomorrow we have a game for team 1 and it'll be fun. Right now a bunch of people are on Aim so I'm going to go talk.

Basketball, Basketball, Basketball!

Listening To: Nothin
Feeling: PUMPED!

Tonight my dad and I went out hunting. It wasn't to cold out, just perfect temperature wise. But as the night went on, it got foggier and we couldn't see a single thing. Rifle season ends Wednesday, and I haven;t seen a single thing all season...

So let's clear some things up shall we? tonight I have a game for my basketball team. This team is pretty much the real deal. and we have games on Modays and practices on Wednesdays. My other team that I'm on (the one where we had scrimmages on Saturday) is a team the goes through the school's high school. The first 2 weeks, on Saturday we would go to the High School gym and work on skills. And it's all kids form the same school district. Then they separate us into teams, and we have practices on Tuesdays and play games on Saturdays. This is more just for fun. So the real deal team is going to be called Basketball Team 1. and the other team is going to be called Basketball Team 2 . It;ll just be a little easier when I write about it.

So I figured out that I have 3 days of basketball in a row, and then another day on Saturday, I have basketball 4 out of the 7 days of the week. And I love it!

Happy B-Day Sis!

Feeling: Happy
Listening To: The TV That My Parents Are Watching

Today is my sister's 18th birthday!!!! Tonight we went out to Buffalo Wild Wings and had dinner. It was so nice and we had a blast. But really that's all, I know this post is only 4 sentences long, but I have nothing to say.

Basketball Tourney (Shhhh! It's A Secret!!!!!!)

Listening To: Nothin
Feeling: Happy, and Tired

Today was the 4th Annual Turkey Classic Basketball Tournament. We did REALLY good; played hard, was aggressive, made our shots (well, most of 'em). And I scored a lot of points, got a lot of rebounds, and was aggressive. Don't mean to brag, but I'm just really happy with myself. We came in third place though, but all of our games were either lost or won by 1-3 points. In the last game, it came down to sudden death, where the first team to score 2 points won the whole game. Almost right off the bat, the other team fouled Jake and he went to the line to shoot free throws, a one-and-one. He made the first one and then the second one, it was awesome! After the game Zack came home with us and my mom took us to Taco Bell and we ate inside. Then she took us to Pizza Sam's for an ice cream cone!!! It was so much fun. Right now, Zack just got out of the shower and I'm about to take one.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Listening To: Zack (my really really good friend) talking to me
Feeling: Tired

Today all the family came over and we had a nice big Thanksgiving feast. It was so much fun! There was so much laughing too! Tomorrow i have a basketball tournament, and afterwards Zack is coming over to spend the night. Will be fun!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Listening To: Fergalicious by Fergie
Feeling: Thankful :)

So today is Thanksgiving! But my family isn't celebrating it today. Tomorrow is when all the family is coming over to our house to eat and celebrate my sister's birthday because it's on Sunday. Today is the frantic madly-clean-the-house-and-bake-to-get-ready-for-the-family-to-come-over-day. But it hasn't started yet. My dad got home form work at 8:00 this morning and he's sleeping right now so we're gonna wait till he gets up. This morning I woke up at 7:30 for some reason. Usually I'll wake up at 8:30 and I expected to sleep even later cuz I went to bed at Midnight last night. Really weird. But about an hour after I got up, I went outside and played basketball. Very cold out. I think I almost lost my fingers due to frostbite, but I got inside just in time. Close one though.

After School

Listening To: Tell Me by Diddy Feat. Christina Aguelira
Feeling: Happy

So every Wednesday my sister has violin practice after school, and I have to go wait for her cuz I get off at the high school and she takes me home. Usually I'm pretty prepared for it, like I have my homework or something to do. But today I totally forgot, but I called my friend Zack and we talked for a little bit. Then when Joycie got out, we drove to the mall and met up with my mom and we had dinner. Now usually I ALWAYS get Taco Bell cuz well, it's only the BEST fast food place! But I decided to go to Subway instead, and I got a water to drink. I decide to eat a little more healthier before I gain 10 pounds for Thanksgiving ;) Afterwards we went to Finish Line (love that store) and I got a pair of Adidas pants. Then we looked around for a while. My mom and I made a few more stops in town and then we went home. I wish Lost was on tonight, but it took a break until February :( But Daybreak seemed pretty good so I'll watch that, I watched the season finale. Adios Amigos! **NOTE** My teacher has been saying that when the bell rings to end the hour every day. And she's not a Spanish teacher.

MORE BASKETBALL!

Listening To: My mom and Dad Talk In The Kitchen
Feeling: Anxious

LAsnt night our Lancers lost :( It would have bneen a really good game, if it weren't for thsie dumb refs! >:o They called almost EVERY thing on us, a lot of people were screaming stuff like "How much are you paying the refs!?!?!" when the other team was heading to their locker room after the game. If we would have won that game, we would have been the farthest team in creek girls basketball history. Oh well, a lot of our better players are Juniors or Sophomores so there's always next year. But tonight I have my first basketball practice for my second team. There are only two other 6th graders on our team, so a lot of it will be stuff I already know, but I don't care; I love basketball!

Today

Listening To: My father cook in the kitchen
Feeling: Rushed

Today at school was pretty good, and tonight my dad and I went out hunting. But we didn't see a single deer. We went back in the woods where there's an oak grove. At first it wasn't too bad out, but as the night went on it was getting even colder. To the point where my hands were about to fall off from frost bite :)

And tonight the Lady Lancers play again in the Regionals. If they win tonight, they can keep on going on, and who knows, maybe they can go to State Finals. My sister and I are going over to the game tonight. A lot of my friends are going to be there, too, so it should be a good time. But it's going to be a late night, so tomorrow morning is going to be a bit rough.

Kind of a Boring Day

Listening To: Wind It Up by Gwen Stefani
Feeling: Okay

This morning I woke up at 8:00! That's kind of early for me, but my dad gets home from work at 8:00 and so Reilly barked up a storm and because he was on my bed, he woke me up. So I got up and had a cup of hot chocolate with butter cookies dipped in it (my mom got them for her and dad for their coffee in the morning). Then the day was kinda boring, I played game cube, read a little bit, and watched TV. I did go out and practice my shot in basketball twice, we didn't have practice last week and we don't have a game or practice this week, so I have to get out there and shoot. This week we only have 3 days of school, and I can't wait for Thanksgiving!

More B-Ball

Listening To: Wind It Up by Gwen Stefani
Feeling: Tired but good :)

Well let's start out with... LADY LANCERS ARE DISTRICT CHAMPS! Last night I went to the game and it was so much fun/ At our gym we have two sets of bleachers on the home side. One set is designated to be the "Student Section." They always cheer and stuff, but last night there were like 4 of us guys, and like 8 girls who were all friends and in the same grade, not High School though. We all sat by each other and were cheering too and stuff, I had a blast. The game went in to overtime, and the girls rocked. After that I went to my friend's house and this morning they took me too the high school where we had basketball scrimmages with our new teams. The scrimmages were 8 minuted long and at the 4 minute mark we had to sub. My team played 4 games and went 3-1. I only sat like 3 times, and I did really good. My friend who I spent the night with didn't do the basketball camp this year, but he stayed and watched me with my mom. He said that I had 18 points and 15 rebounds: a double-double. Which is pretty good for only playing like 24 minutes. I was really tired afterwards, and my mom and I went to Bob Evan's and had breakfast. Then we went shopping cuz we had to get a few things, and then we came home. I think tonight we are FINALLY going to watch Chronicles Of Narnia!

Lady Lancers

Listening To: My friend talking to me on the phone
Feeling: Pretty Good

Tonight our Lady Lancers are playing for district championship! Last 2 games our girls have KICKED BUTT! It'd be so sweet if they won tonight! I have a little bit of home work, but I really don't feel like doing it. I have 2 days to do it though. But right now I don't have much to say.

Dumb Weather

Listening To: My Love by Justin Timberlake
Feeling: Good

Well last night we decided that I could stay home from school to go hunting. I asked if I could, just joking around kind of, and my mom heard and said that I was getting good grades and that it wouldn't hurt if I took a day off. Well plans did plans didn't go that way. It was raining all through the night and at 5:00, it still was. So my dad decided it would be best to go tomorrow morning so I had to go to school. But tomorrow is picture re-take day and I have to be there, plus I have 3 tests tomorrow too. So now I have to wait until the weekend to go hunting now. Thanks a lot, Mother Nature!

Opening Day Bummer

Listening To: My friend talking to me on AIM
Feeling: TIRED!

So today was the opening day for rifle season. My dad woke me up at about 5:00 this morning and we all had a nice, big, hot breakfast: Belgain waffles and sausage links and patties. After that we went out and got dressed and my dad and I were in our deer blind at about 6:15 - 6:30. Unfortanately, I fell asleep at about 7:30 and didn't wake up until 11:00 :) But my dad didn't see anything anyway, so after that we went out to see my grandpa who was also hunting on our property. He saw 2 does but they went right on by him. My dad and I moved 3 more times after that, and every single time, we saw NOTHING. A huge blow out for the first day of rifle season :( Oh well, there are plenty more days to go out, and I still had fun being with my dad all day!

My Day

Listening To: Nothin'
Feeling: Full

Today, was kinda boring for me. Nothing really happened. I just had a PB&J so I'm full. But I am SUPER excited for Opening Day tomorrow. We are waking up at like 5:30 and dad is gonna make a hot breakfast for us, we'll take out hot cocoa and be in the blind. My dad has been seeing two 6 points around, and I hope I get one of 'em!

B-Ball Game

Listening To: Last Night by Diddy Feat. Keyshia Cole
Feeling: Tired

Tonight my team had our second basketball game. But we lost, 35-27. They were a good team and we were about tied through the whole game until the last 10 minutes and we just lost it. Oh well, we have many more games to win :) And, we don't have any more practices or games until the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Geuss I better start shooting hoops!

Getting Ready For Opening Day!

Listening To: Last Night by Diddy Feat. Keyshia Cole
Feelin: Nice and Warm

Today my dad and I went to Meijer to see what they had for hunting clothes, and we ended up gettin hats and gloves. So then we went to Mill End and got my over-alls and my jacket whish both match and are both reversible. We also got my boots which are really nice too! I'm really happy with what I got! So when we got home we went out and saw where we were probably gonna go hunting opening day. Then we shot my rifle. I'm doing pretty good. I'm looking forward more and more every day for Opening Day on Wednesday.
P.S.
I'm feelin nice and warm cuz I'm wearing my new Aeropastale sweatshirt ;)

I'm pretty sure this will be my last post for tonight... or maybe not ;) G'Night y'all!

A Meme

Listening To: Diddy's Album Still
Feeling: The same as two minutes ago ;)

My mom sent me an e-mail with this in it, so I thought I'd put it in my blog:

A Night With Aunt Janet

Listening To: Diddy's New Album
Feelin: Full, Tired, and Really Happy

Tonight my Aunt Janet picked me up and we went into town to celebrate my birthday. She usually takes out to dinner and go shopping to spend our b-day money, or sometimes she'll take us to see a movie too. When I say us, I mean my sis, my cousins, and I. She does it for everyone of our birthdays. So today we went and saw Man Of the Year at the theaters. It was really good and really funny, you should see it if you haven't already! Then we went to eat at Damon's which was really good. She told them that it was my birthday and they put me on one of their big screens and announced it was my b-day and everyone there clapped! It was cool. After that we went to the mall and our first stop was Target, where I got Madden 07 for my gamecube. Aunt Janet looked around for a while too at some Christmas stuff and ended up buying a few things. Then we walked around for a while and also stopped in at American Eagle and Aeropastale where I ended up getting a nice warm and fuzzy sweatshirt from Aeropastale. Then, our last stop was Barnes & Noble where I used my $10 giftcard that I got and bought Diddy's new album called Press Play. I had to pay 6 bucks too to par for it. And Aunt Janet also got us a couple frappacnos too! So I started out with $65 and now I only have a dollar left! But I had a blast with Aunt Janet tonight!

Dinner With Daddy

Listening To: Drop It Like It's Hot by Lil' Wayne
Feelin: FULL!

Tonight my dad and I were going to see a Central Michigan University game, but we weren't really prepared. We didn't order tickets ahead of time and this was a rivalry AND a championship game. So the odds of getting tickets an hour before the game, weren't so great. But the weather was really bad anyway, really cold and pouring rain out. But the traffic to get in the game in the city was still unbelievable. And a lot of people were walking to the game with sweatshirts on. Crazy! So instead, my dad and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings to have dinner. I got 18 Honey BBQ wings, but only ate maybe half. Oh well, I got myself lunch tomorrow =D Then we stopped at Dairy Queen and split a Blizzard. I think we're all gonna watch Chronicles Of Narnia together tonight.

It's So Nice Out

Listening To: Same Ol' Stuff
Feelin: Good

Today, it's really nice out! It's nice to have a good weather day when it's always so cold! Nothing's really happenin, same ol' same ol'. And I don't really know why I'm using the word "ol'" so much but oh well ;) Oh, and my girlfriend broke up with me by e-mail last night. But I'm great. Not really sad about the whole thing, there was never really anything special between us I geuss. But we're still friends! And I think I'm gonna watch Chronicles Of Narnia tonight... But right now I'm talking with my friends on AIM. So talk to y'all later.

B-Ball and Lost

Listening To: The sound of the TV
Feeling: Really Tired

Tonight I had basketball practice and it went pretty good. I just finished watching Lost, and once again we're left with a cliff-hanger until February. Whodda thunk it?!? Anyway, I think I'm gonna go to bed. This isn't much of a blog post, but I'm too tired to write any thing :)

Shooting My New Rifle

Listening To: Rebel Yell by Toby Rand ~ it's a cover from the show too
Feeling: Pretty Good

So as you all know, I got a 170 bolt-action rifle that's made by Savage Arms for my birthday. Tonight I went out and shot it! My dad already sighted it in so I was all ready to go. It's so nice! It has a little kick and is kinda loud and it has this thing where you can load 3 bullets into it and all you have to do is shoot then eject the shell and then its ready to go again. I loved shooting it! I kept my shells too:

the one circled in red is my very first shell. I've shot a bee-bee gun before and a 22 but this is my first real gun.

WooooooooooooHoo!!!

Listening To: Throw It All Away by Toby Rand (Rockstar: Supernova guy from Aussie!)
Feelin: Tired

I know it's my second blog post but I couldn't wait to blog about my game! We won, the score was 24-17. I started too, but lost the jump because the other guy was like 4 inches taller than me, and I'm like 5 foot 2 inches! I scored 10 points, 8 from regular and I made 2 out of 3 freethrow shots. I also got a lot of rebounds too:) The other freethrow shot I missed was 1-and-1, that's where you get fowled and the othe team has more than 9 fowls in that half and if you make the first one then u get to shoot another, and if you miss the second one, then you can just rebound the ball. I play center, or #5 position so I'll get fouled a lot. Our whole team is looking great! There are 10 of us so we have two different teams: gold and black. Each game, we will take turns with the two different teams starting and coach will put in who he needs at the end if we are down.

I have improved SO much from last year. I'm more aggressive and I am not getting down on myself if I miss a shot or something. Watch out everyone, big #3 is comin'... ;)

Logan's and B-Ball

Listening To: Tell Me by Diddy Fet. Christina Ageulira - AWESOME SONG!!!!!!!
Feeling: Pretty good

Last night I was going make a post but Blogger said that it was down for maintenance, so I couldn't. But last night we did go to Logan's for dinner to celebrate my birthday, we were going to go on Saturday but I went with my friends to that movie. Logan's was fun and the food was really good, as always! I got the combo dinner that was steak and shrimp. The shrimp were on shishkabobs so there were only 8 and that's all I had cuz I don't like the vegetables. And the steak was really good too! :) I was going to get sung to by the employees too, but my mom get sick and we had to leave earlier and that didn't happen. So instead they gave me a free peanut butter sugar stuff, but it's not very good, it tastes funny. My mom apologized, but I said that it wasn't her fault and I completely understand.

Today at school I wore my new shoes that I got for my B-Day, they're really bright and I LOVE them! I got a lot of comments on them, some good and some bad, but I don't really care if they like them or not, cuz they're so cool!

Also, tonight is my first Basketball game and I'm so excited!!! We play at this H-U-G-E place that has 8 full basketball courts that can be used for volleyball and other sports too. And there is also another floor which has a seating area, and a big weight room that can be used for physical therapy too. The place is awesome! Our game is at 7:00 and I think our team is going to have a really good chance! Wish me luck!

A Happy Birthday and A Stupid Movie

Listening To: Tell Me by Diddy fet. Christina Aguelira
Feeling: Happy

Well the party last night went great! I got $55, a new rifle!, a SWEET pair of orange and yellow and green pair of shoes, Chronicles of Narnia DVD, a couple of gift cards, and a whiteboard calendar and dry erase markers. I love what I got and my mom made a awesome cake! I had tons of fun!

Right now I am at Zack's house and we just got back from seeing The prestige with my girlfriend, Kendra, and our friend Maddie. The movie was actually really stupid. I was SO disappointed cuz I was REALLY looking forward to seeing it. It was really confusing and all we got were stuff to ask questions until the end and it answered all the questions so I was practically lost throughout the whole movie. Plus, it skipped back and forth from present time and then the past. AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!

Happy Early Birthday To Me!

Listening To: Maneater by Nelly Furtado
Feeling: Anxious

Today is the day before my birthday, and we are having the party tonight cuz most of the family is gone tomorrow. Today at school I was sung to 4 times! It was cool. Once was when Lizzie sang really loud all by herself ALL the way down the hallway on our way to lunch! I was sung to twice at lunch: once my whole table sang, then Julia and Amy went in front of the whole lunch room and screamed, "It's Sam's birthday - everybody SING!!!" Then those two started singing and then like 6 other people went up there and started singing while most of the lunchroom was singing. Then at the end of Math class, Mr. Laughner had the class sing to me, too! Pretty cool huh? ;) So right now there is my b-day cake sitting on the counter, and it's covered, and my mom won't let me see it. Curiosity killed the cat...

This And That

Listening To: Fergalicious by Fergie
Feeling: EXCITED!!!!

So let's start off with Halloween: My costume ROCKED!

On Halloween a bunch of my friends and I went to a couple haunted houses, well really, they were more like mazes that were kinda scary. One was kinda lame and the only thing kinda scary was a guy dressed in all black jumped out from behind the house and flashed his flashlight at us. Well, maybe more than just kinda scary ;) The second one wasn't that much scarier. But one part was like a cemetery and what looked like a decoration that you could buy that looked like a skeleton, was really a little kid who jumped up at us when u got close. Yeah, I screamed. After that we went trunk-or-treating at a couple of churches. Trunk-or-treating is where people park at the parking lot and we walk by and they hand us candy. It was a more safer way of trick-or-treating, but my whole brief case (I used that to carry my candy around because my costume was a gorilla going to work) was full! After that we hit a couple party stores who handed out pop and candy bars. Then I left them with my family so we could go to my family's houses. First we went to my grandma and grandpa's, who gave me a full bag of small size Almond Joys! My favorites! Then we went to my Aunt Kathy and Uncle Bob's who gave me a King Sized Hershey bar, a big bow of starbursts, a king-size tootsie roll, and a pack of Bubble Yum. Then at my Aunt JoAnne's, I got the rest of her candy that she was gonna hand out. Finally, at my Aunt Janet and Uncle Bob's, I got a bunch of candy! Thanks family!

MEAP got over with and to celebrate it, my Middle School threw a party. All of our classes were cut like 15 minutes short and we had an hour and a half to have fun! There were many options of what you could do, like go to the dance, watch a movie, play games and arm wrestle, of go outside. I chose to go to that dance, and so did a lot of my friends. It was so much fun and I wish it could have been longer, like the rest of our dances. They only played two slow songs though, and the first one my girl friend was gone. The second one she was there though and we had fun.

Basketball has started and we will probably have our first game Monday. I love basketball and can't wait to play! I play center and sometimes forward. I don't know if I will be starting yet, but I think I have a really good chance though! We have practice every monday.

Saturday is my 12th birthday! But we;re celebrating it on Friday though. We're having a family party which will be a lot of fun, and on Saturday we're going to see The Prestige and go out to dinner. The Prestige looks so good, I cant wait to see it! And we'll be going to dinner to a place where they'll sing to me or something. I'll give y'all the details later. ;)

Saturday also starts the basketball camp at the high school which will be a blast. We have like 2 days of skills then we get put on to teams and play every Saturday. Lookin forward to it!

I think that's about it... I'm glad to be posting again!

Today

Listening To: Be Yourself and Five Other Cliches by Supernova
Feeling: Good

Today at school I had a field trip to the Nature Center. We went to the wetlands for the second half of it and my feet got all wet :( When we got back we had like 15 minutes of school left and we watched a movie for that time. Pretty easy day, huh? Afterwards, my mom picked me up from school and what did she have in the car for me when I got in...? TACO BELL! YAY! Also, we had a parent teacher conference at my school this evening, and I got pretty good reports. Right now my dad is out hunting, and I'm looking forward to watching Survivor tonight.

By the way, I watched Lost last night... SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD! Gosh I love that show!

First Day Of School

Listening To: Chang Hang Low by Jibbs
Feelin': Stuffed Up

I finished the first week of school! It went really well. All my teachers are really cool. My second period is gym, and the teacher is one of the Varsity football coaches. So the warm-ups is like a mini football practice, and we played kickball this week. So far, I've had no homework, but I know that's gonna change... It's all pretty much what I expected it to be. But what really stinks is the lunch period. Last year, the kids would be able to go outside after they finished their lunch, all of them, toghether. Well, this year on Tuesdays, girls go out, and on Thursdays, boys go out. I really just don't understand that. One day to go out, and the boys and girls are seperated. The first school dance is this Thursday, and I'm really excited. It'll be really fun. Right now, I'm sniffleing every 2 seconds because of my allergies, stupid allergies! This sucks cuz i dont wanna be like this tomorrow for school. And especially not Thursday...

Recap

Listenin To: Call Me When You're Sober by Evanescense
Feelin': Good

So, ya, it's been a while. Here are some things that have been going on lately:

Football practice started a couple weeks ago, and has been going great. This year, they're starting me as Defensive Backer. A Backer plays on the line next to the end. I played o-line last year, and I am loving the change! Playing defense is so much fun, and I'm doing pretty good at it. My first game is this Sunday, we play AT Carollton, I was kinda wishin that we would have had our first game at home, oh well. We'll still kick butt!

School is starting this Tuesday, and yes, I am getting pretty excited. I'm starting Middle School this year, and am more ready for the change, rather than the actual work part. I got my schedule and am very happy with it. A lot of my friends are all kinda separated so that kinda stinks. But the one thing that I'm kinda worried about is the home work, cuz in Elementary School we NEVER got homework. It'll be a hard change...

The VMA's was on MTV last night, but I had to record it because the Varsity football game was last night. I watched it when I got home though, and it was pretty good. I was kinda disappointed in Justin Timberlake's performance,it wasn't like the original song, and I love SexyBack. Beyonce's performance was really cool though.

Well that's about it. I've just been hanging out with my friends, listening to music, and reading.

Shopping, Books, Rubber Bands, and Football

Listening To: I Constantly Thank God For Esteban by Panic! At The Disco
Feelin': Pain

For this new school year, I was in desperate need for new Jeans. So my sis and I went to the mall area and went clothes shopping. We went to Khol's first and I got 2 pairs of jeans and 2 shirts. I've been wanting faded and distressed jeans, which are the ones with the rips and stuff like that. One of the pairs I got was really distressed and the other pair had 2 small rips. Tony Hawk's line of clothing is pretty cool, so I got 2 of those shirts. We left there and went in the mall ad we first stopped at American Eagle. Stuff there is kinda expensive, and I had a limit to how much I could spend, so I just got a shirt and a pair of jeans. My sis got a few pairs of jeans and a few shirts. Aeropastale was next on our list and there I got 3 shirts. Joyce went to Maurice's and the Vanity, which are both just women's clothes so I didn't really find anything I liked there. I wanted to stop at Steve & Barry's, and there I got 4 of the shirts that button up the front, and 5 shirts that would go underneath, and I would roll up the sleeves and leave them unbuttoned, and I really like them! Our shopping trip was done I was happy with what I got.

A while ago I finished that series I told you all about. The best series I have ever read, without a doubt. The ending was great, and there is another series by the same author, called The Prophecy Series. It is about the 4 clans again but the story is based about a new cat. It has all the Kits and apprentices that were in the first series and is now mainly about them, a new generation. Barnes & Noble only had the first 2 and were in hardcover, and I want paperback. There are like 4 out I think so my mom will order the first 3 wich will all be in paper back. I can't wait until they get here!

Yesterday, I had an Orthodontics appointment, and I got new wires on my braces. But now, I have to have a small rubber band running from the back tooth and the bottom up to a tooth on the side on the top. When the girl who put the new wires on, she kinda yanked them after a little bit. OW! That's my mouth you're yanking on! So now my whole mouth is in pain and part of that is sleeping with the rubber band on. I have to change the rubber bands 4 times a day, and I am not exactly looking forward to that...

Tonight I have a football meeting and I get to pick up my pads and stuff. They will tell us about what is going on like when the practices are and stuff like that. I am really excited cuz next week we start practice!

I Love These Books!

Listening To: The Riddle by Five For Fighting
Feelin: Happy

When my family picked me up from SpringHill Summer Camps, back in June, my mom got me these 3 books and were the first 3 in the series. The title of the Series was
Warriors and the author was Erin Hunter. I started the first one a couple weeks after I got them and Monday, my mom got me the next 3 in the series cuz I finished the other ones. I have to say, this is my favorite series I have ever read. They are so good! They're about these 4 clans of cats that live in the wild and one clan takes in a kittypet (house cat) and they're about his life in the wild. I strongly reccomed them! Here's the official website: www.warriorcats.com

Weekend With The Boys

Listening To: Invisible by Ashlee Simpson
Feelin': Tired

On Friday I went over to my grandma's and as soon as I got there we went swimming at my Aunt's. Rogan and Austin were there so we played together and my Aunt Janet who had the boys, asked if I wanted to spend the night with them. Of course, I said yes. So she picked me up at my Gandma's and we went back to my house to pick up some clothes. From my house we went back to her's and then we went blueberry picking. Rogan loved it and didn't want to stop, it was funny:) We went back to her house and we went for a four-wheeler ride and took some blueberries to my Grandparents. We played for a while and ate dinner. When we went to bed, we slept out in their camping trailer, just Rogan, Austin and I. I read them some stories and ten we went to bed. The next day we had blueberry pancakes for breakfast, yum! WE played for a while again and then headed into town to the fairgrounds. They had some miniature horse shows going on and my Aunt helped with one of the horse's costume so that as what we came to see. Well, when we got there they were still a long way from the costume horses. We hung out for a while and watched the show and then left for Little Ceasar's for lunch. When we cam back we had to wait about 10 minutes and then finally the costumes came out. The one that my Aunt helped with came in first place! So we left there and went home. We went swimming and there was a marathon of Scooby Doo on tv and the boys wanted to watch that. My Aunt asked if I wanted to spend the night again so I said sure. We slept out in the trailer again. The next morning we went to Lil' Chef and had breakfast. We went for another four-wheeler ride that day and went swimming again. It rained that day REALLY hard for like 10 minutes and then it stopped. Later that night they came over to our pond and went for a canoe ride. Then they left cuz my aunt had to take them back home in Detroit today. It was an awesome weekend!

Michigan's Adventure

Listening To: London Bridge by Fergie
Feelin': good

So on staurday morning my dad and I, just the 2 of us, headed to Muskegon and went to Michigan's Adventure for the day. We got there like 20 min. after they opened and hit the water park first. We went on water slides and the wave pool where in a big pool this wall like sends HUGE waves out and you can ride them and stuff wich was fun. But my favorite water ride was called Funnel Of Fear. It took about 45 min to an hour to wait in line but it was worth it! You start out on an intertube that fits about 6 people and then go on a slide and it goes up and down then you shoot down and come out into this huge funnel that was about 4 stories tall and you shoot up about a third of the way and came down and then back and forth until it dies down and you end in a small pool to exit. IT WAS AWESOME!! Then I hit the wave pool a few more times and then dried off and I got my clothes on. My dad and I hit 3 rides at the amusement park cuz we were tired after a long day at the waterpark. One was called Logger's Run and you are on these log type boats and the water takes you around kinda slowly and then you shoot down and get splashed, it was okay. Then we hit one called Wolverine Wildcat. It was a coaster and it was a smaller version of another coaster called Shivering Timbers. On Shivering Timbers (wich was more fun) you go really fast and go slowly up hills and shoot down and you do it over and over again. My dad didn't really like it cuz it hurt his neck :( So then we left and got a hotel in Grand Rapids. It took us about 20 min to a half hour to find the hotel. We saw it but couldn't find the road that lead to it and when we finally got there there all out of rooms! Luckily there was a Holiday Inn Express about 2 min away that had rooms. We got to our room and it was obviously a smoking room so we had to get a different room. We both showered up and went to a Logan's Roadhouse. I got some babyback ribs that were to die for. The were so good! We got a takeout ice cream at Coldstone Creamery and went back to the hotel and ate it while watching a movie on TNT. I fell asleep before it was over with though ;) So the next morning we woke up and went to the local IHOP cuz I was craving a good Belgian waffle, what kind of hotel breakfast doesn't have a waffle maker?!? So we drove around and we found that IHOP. Then we just kinda drove around and the went to a West Michigan Whitecaps game. We were a lil early and on the way in we saw an AJ's Family Fun Center that had putt putt golf. We did that and then watched the game. Whitecaps won, wich was cool. When we got home we were so tired that a slept like a baby, and if felt good!

A Lil' Bit Of Catch Up

Listening To: But It's Better If You Do by Panic! At The Disco
Feelin': My feet hurt and I'm tired

So on Monday we had a big storm and we lost power. We were just starting to light the candles and we looked out side and the wind was blowing like crazy and the tops of the trees were swaying back and forth really hard and fast. My mom said that we should go in the basement so we brought down a board game and started playing it. We were down there for about 10 min. and the wind stopped so we went back upstairs. Tuesday my dad and I went to my grandparents who live 5 min. away so they also were without power. They had there water hooked up and my dad wanted to know how to do that. So my dad got that hooked up to the generator along with our T.V. and fridge. That night my grandparents got there power back so when my dad got home at midnight he hooked it up and we had power, on the day when we had just gotten our generator up and was prepared for another few days. Figures.

My Aunts and Uncles and grandparents all live right close to eachother, being seperated by a field. Beacause of the storm, a lot of trees were down over there. So my cousin that lives about an hour and a half away drove himself up here to help and to spend time with my family, right on the week end my dad and I will be gone. Figures. So today I went over and helped him out and hung out with him too. First we moved a big pile of rocks for my grandma. Then we had lunch and started using the DR Brushmower on our riding trails. He used the mower while I went and clipped the overhanging branches that would be in the way of my grandparent's golfcart and everyone else's quads.

So if you don't know that I love to swim, then you obviously don't know me very well. It seems like that every night I'm always asking my parents to take me swimming at my Aunt's inground pool who lives about 5 min. away too. Tonight my mom took me swimming! This Summer I taught myself how to swim underwater without plugging my nose. Wich means I can now dive the right way:

So tomorrow my dad and I are leaving for Michigan Adventures. We're leaving at about 8:30 cuz the park doesn't open up till 11:00 and it takes about 2 and a half hours to get there. We're gonna find a hotel and then hit the water oark till it closes at 7:00. Then we're gonna go to the amusement park until whenever we feel like leaving. Then we'll go back and watch tv and chill until we fall asleep. The next day we'll go have brunch or whatever cuz at 2:00 we're gonna see that ball game and then come home. My bags are packed and only 13 hours separates us from that water park...

Splitting' Wood

Listening To: Hips Don't Lie by Shakira
Feelin: Sore and Excited

So lately my dad and I have been out cutting down trees and then using our wood splitter to chop em up. Then we load them into a trailer on our tractor and stack the pile in the trailer. It's been really hot out lately though. Today, the feel temp was 99 degrees! It can be kinda miserable. We stopped and came back to our house to have lunch and it was so hard to get back into it to finish the job. My dad says that it'll help get me in shape for football season comin' up and he really appreciates all the help I give him. It also helps heat our water and our house and stuff cuz we have a woodstove. It'll all pay off though cuz next weekend we're going to Michigan Adventures on Saturday and staying in a hotel and the next day we're gonna see a West Michigan Whitecaps baseball game. It's a minor league team wich is like a step below the Tigers and all them. Right now though my dad and I are going over to my Aunt's house to go swimming. I LOVE to go swimming and want to go almost every day so I'm always excited when someone will take me.

Pirates

Listening to: My sis watching TV
Feeling: Bored

So on Saturday me, my mom and my sis went to see Pirates Of The Carribean: Dead Man's Chest. It was so good! The special effects were awesome, like with Davy Jones and his crew, pretty sweet. I liked the part where Will Turner and commodore Norrington were fighting in the big wheel, it was cool. I hate how it just ended, it's driving me crazy cuz I wanna know what they're gonna do with the heart. I don't know if I'll be able to wait 'til next Summer.

I can't beleive that Ben Wallace did that! He left the Pistons over 10 million dollars. Detroit offered him 50 mil. for 4 years and Chicago offered him 60 mil. for 4 years. He won the Defensive Player Of The Year 4 out of the 6 years he was with the Pistons. Does he not see what all he has with the Pistons??? Ben was my basketball hero. He was awesome, and he left. I bought 2 jerseys of his, so much for them:( My mom and Dad got me a big bobble head of him for Christmas with a PISTONS jersey on, not a Bulls jersey! He should stay with his home.

Dirt, Cement and Housework

Listening To: nothin'
Feeling: Sore and Tired

So this morning I woke up and there was a list on the island counter that listed all the housework that was to be done today. My dad was still sleeping cause he has to go into work at 2:00pm. So we couldn't vaccumor anything else. So my Aunt Janet had some black dirt delivered to her house last night and my sister and I went over and helped even it out in her gardens and stuff this morning. She also was having cement put in her driveway and at 10:30am the trucks were there. My sis and I left at arond 11:45am, right after we had lunch there. When we got home my dad was awake so my sis and I went to work. I just finished and when my mom gets home, I REALLY hope she takes me swimming...

Happy 1st Of July?

Listening To: Miss Murder by AFI
Feeling: Bored

On Saturday my friend asked me if I wanted to help work the concession stand at a baseball tourney and I did. It was kinda fun, the food was free for us! But once that was done, my sis came and picked me up and my family had a BBQ. The big news was my cousin, Susan, is now engaged to her 3 year boyfriend, Stewart! This is them, look at that rock!

Susan has a son and so does Stewart. Stewart's son is named Austin and is older than Susan's son, Rogan.

They get along great, and they're both so cute.

After the BBQ, of course I went swimming and Rogan and Austin came to. Then we had a campfire and had some small fireworks for the 4th of July. Now, usually my family all gets together and we have a big show of fire works, on the 4TH OF JULY! This year, for some reason we didn't. It felt weirder than most 4th of Julys because 1. it was on the 1st and 2. most of the family wasn't there. Oh well, tomorrow though, we might go to the city's fireworks.

Long Time Not Blogged. Time To Catch Up.

Listening to: Who Knew by P!nk
Feeling: Good

Wow! It's been like 2 months...

So school got out like May 23 and it's been goin great. Had basketball and baseball camps at my High School and have been hangin out with friends. Been going swimming but unfortunately I don't own a pool, my Aunt does.

On June 18, I left for a Christian Summer camp called SpringHill in Evart, MI. It was so much fun. We stayed in the forts and it had about 5 cabins all connected together by a cat walk. My cabin was called Fort Gratiot. I went with my friend, Jake. You stay there for 5 days and I wrote in a journal every night. Here it is typed up:
DAY ONE: When everyone arrived, we went to talk about the rules upstairs. Then we went outside and played a couple of games. One was where you were in a circle and Josh would say look down and you had to look at someone's shoes and then you had to look up at that person and if you were both looking at each other then the first person to scream was still in and the person who was too late was out. Then Josh taught us Camouflage. When a counselor calls camouflage then you have 10 seconds to hide in the woods and if he sees you he calls your name and you have to go back. When he can't see anyone else, he calls camouflage again and you have 10 seconds to come back and tag the counselor. A counselor can call camouflage any time he wants to. Then we had dinner. After dinner they would put on a little skit. After every skit we would have a "dance party". They would play music and we would all get in a conga line and go around jumping up and down. Then we would form a circle and kids would go in and like bust a move or whatever. We went to a field and played a game called British Bulldog. It's where the counselors of Fort Grat. and Wayne would be in the middle and all the campers would try to run past the counselors and the counselors would try to pick us up off the ground for 3 sec. and if they did you became a bulldog. We then played a couple more games and then had a campfire and went to bed. Our counselors are Josh Brett and Derrick.
DAY TWO: Today we did morning watch where we read a lil bit out of the bible and learned our memory verse and then had breakfast. We came back and got our swimsuits on and went to the craft house. I made a candle today. Then we went to the pool and learned the rules of the waterslide. That water slide is the 3rd largest in the state of Michigan! We had to go down on inter tubes. Jake and I went down together with a noodle and we would spin and twirl the noodle over our heads and we would go really fast. Then we did Morning Rap where we read the bible some more and then went to lunch. After lunch we went horse back riding wich was really fun. I really like horse back riding. After horses we went to the flying squirrel wich was where were harnessed up and were connected to 2 huge poles. We would run on way and everyone else would go the other way while pulling a rope and you would swing and go up really high. Then we came back and changed and went to BMX. Then we went to an island and had burgers for dinner. We had a campfire and went to bed.
DAY THREE: First we did morning watch and then breakfast. Then we went to the blob. The blob was where there was a huge like pillow that was filled with air and was floating in the water and you jumped on it from a platform in the air and 1 kid would sit on the end and when you landed on the blob the kid on the end would go flying. 2 counselors blobbed me and it was a blast! We had morning rap next and then went to the trading post and then had lunch. Next we went to the zip line witch was where we were harnessed up and we would go down across the lake on a cable and it was SO awesome! Then we had team’s course wich was kind of boring. Then after dinner we played a game of dodge ball. We had a campfire then went to bed.
DAY FOUR: This morning when I woke up and it was pouring out. We did morning watch and then went to breakfast. We went to the gusher wich is a huge water slide and I only got to go down once because of lightning. We ran back and took showers. We had morning rap in the fort that day. Then we went to the trading post and then lunch. After that we went to extreme sports wich was like skateboarding but that was canceled because of rain. Then we went to dinner and then went to riflery. Then we got ready for Wednesday Night Live. Our group dressed up as Jim, one of the guys that worked there. They put on little skits and then a band played 3 songs. Then we had a campfire and went to bed.
DAY FIVE: This morning I woke up did morning watch, had breakfast, and went to the water Trampoline. It was on of those big in floatable ones. That was fun. We showered right after that. Morning rap was next and after that and had a cabin time. Then we had lunch and then another cabin time. Then we went fishing and then had dinner. Then we had a game called battles sip wich we played in canoes. Then we had a campfire and went to bed.
That’s it, but I didn’t get to write on Friday cause that’s the day I went home that day. On Friday, we had an M&M war. It was kind of like capture the flag. Then we had lunch and packed our bags and the our parents came and we had like a gathering and each person from their fort got an award. Mine was the Good-Natured Award. Then we had a gathering where everyone in Copper Country put on a skit where we talked about camp. Then we went home.

Some good friends of ours invited us and some other friends to got to a Detroit Tiger’s game against the Cardinals. There was about 30 of us and we all sat in the upper deck. The Tiger’s won and after ward. All the kids got to run the bases. That was pretty cool. Then my family went to Greek Town and ate at a Greek restaurant. I got BBQ Chicken but didn’t like it so all I had was half a piece of cheese cake :-)

3rd Place

Listening To: Beautiful Love by The Afters
Feeling: Sore

Today my baseball team had a Majors tournament. And ,yes you guessed it, we came in third. There were only 3 teams in the tourney and they were all from the same little league. We won the first and lost the next 2 :( But we did get a medal!

After the tourney, the whole Majors league had a hit pitch and run. The hit part is where you hit 3 balls off a tee and they measure how far it landed. The pitch part was where you had to pitch 6 balls and hit a target of about the size of a clipboard but a little bit bigger from 45 Ft. back. The run part was where you had to run from 2nd base to 3rd base and then home as you were timed. On the running, I got 7.28 seconds wich is good for my size. On the pitching part I hit the target 2 out of 6 times, not so good. I for got how far hit the 3 balls. All in all, it was a great day!

Marble Party!

Listening To: nuthin'
Feeling: pretty good

So I'm in the fifth grade and at my school we have moon money. That's fake $ and we can buy things like paper clips and stuff for like 200,000 bucks. That's not that much actually. And sometimes my teacher auctions stuff off. Today, he auctioned off a water bottle, some fruit punch mix and 2 tickets for the other teacher(a.k.a. his wife)'s marble party in the afternoon. My friend and I both bought one and we both got to skip class and join their party.

A marble party is when the class gets to watch a movie and eat snacks and drink pop. The movie this time was The Chronicles Of Narnia The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. I had so much fun, but we didn't get to finish it. The other teacher said that her class would finish it tomorrow and if our teacher would let us, then we could come back and finish it too. Hope he's in a good mood!:)

Lost Last nigh was SO good! I wanna know what kinda "tests" the others had Walt do, and what "the room" was when the black woman threatened Walt to put him in "the room" when he was talking to Michael. Pheww, need to take a breath! Can't wait for the season finale! :)

I'm a Graduate and a Bus Boy!

Felling: Pooped
Listening To: Over My Head by The Fray

Well Friday I graduated from D.A.R.E. DARE is a program that teaches you about drugs and alcohol and what the bad effects if you use them. A local police officer teaches it to the 5th grade. He comes for like 10 weeks to teach for about and hour every Tuesday. Once that's done, we learn a song and we sing at the graduation. At the graduation, which is held at the high school's auditorium, a judge, the officer who taught us, the sheriff, and the principal talk. Then our name is called and we walk and get the diplomas and shake everyone's hand. Afterward there is cake and punch! We also get a shirt that says DARE on it and we all wear those graduation hats, they're red and black.

Then, my mom is fixing a computer for my friend's mom, they've done that twice. Both times I have gone over with my mom and played with my friend. This afternoon when we went I stayed when my om left and we went to the legion to have dinner. My friend's grandpa works there so once he and I got done eating, we got to bus tables. In tips, I made 10 bucks and he made 7 bucks. It was SO much fun!

Another Game...

Feeling: Happy
Listening To: What You Know by T.I.

Tonight I had a baseball game in Larkin, and we won. I think the score was something like 11-7. I kinda sucked hitting, but pitched a no-hit inning. That's when the pitcher pitches and no one can hit off him. Currently my team's record is 2 wins and 2 losses.

Mondays

Feeling: Good
Listening To: Over My Head (cable car) by The Fray

Monday's are the worst day of the week, without a doubt. It always takes forever for me to get ready. This morning I came down from my room at 6:00 in order to take a shower, but I ended up sleeping for another 20 minutes on my mom and dad's bed! Then I only had about 15-20 minutes to get ready. Then when I got to school we had a substitute teacher. I guess she was okay but I had a student council meeting during Recess and Lunch so I didn't get to go outside at all. But enough complaining!

My sis has NHS (National Honor Society) inductions tonight, but thankfully I don't have to go, it's like 2 hours long! I'm gonna watch David Blaine: Drowned Alive on abc tonight, that should be interesting. Also, I thought I was going to have a baseball game tonight but it's tomorrow, bummer. It's so nice out, it would have been a perfect night for a ball game. So I think I'll use the computer for a lil' bit longer, then enjoy the B-E-A-utiful day!

Such A Boring Weekend

Feeling: Bored
Listening To: SOS by Rihanna

This weekend was SO boring! My dad's sleeping because he's working midnights wich means he gets home at 8:00am so we have to be super silent through out the day so it's hard to watch the TV. There's nothing to do outside because I have no one to play with except my dog,Reilly, and he's not very good at basketball. Then none of my friends are on line lately to Instant Message with and I haven't seen them in like forever. All of my friends go to a different elementary school than me (but we're still in the same school district) so I haven't seen them at all lately because I was grounded for 2 weeks and I didn't do anything with them last weekend. And since today's Sunday it'll be a month since I've done anything with my fiends. What am I gonna do?

The only fun few things I've done was go to the ball fields and practice baseball with my dad, and watch a movie, Enough, with my mom. Thankfully Desperate Housewives is on tonight, YAY!

Young Author's Day!

Feeling: Allergic To Everything
Listening To: Where'd You Go? by Fort Minor

Today 20 out of 60 kids at my school went to Delta College, and I was 1 of them! We got there and we went shopping at the book store and a bunch of books were there of the authors that came to the event. Then we went to an author named Alfred Slote. He talked to us about his books and what he's done and he then signed autographs for people. Since I got one of his books he autographed it for me. Then we went and had lunch out on a strip of grass by the parking lot. Once we were done with that, we went to another author named Byrd Baylor. She lives in Arizona out in the dessert all by herself far away from the city. She loves the nature and most of her books are about nature. She also loves the animals and is a vegetarian. She too talked about her travels and one of her books. Finally we went top one last author,Janie Lynn Panagopoulos. She likes to write from history and do research on her work. She first started out talking to us about generations and how this is the best of our time and there was no "good ol' days". Not exactly what we all expected. Then she actually started talking about her books and her travels. Like once she went onn a train wagon trip from Mississippi to Wisconsin and what she had to do. Then at the end she signed the book I bought by her. You can check out her website at www.jlpanagopoulos.comThen there was an autographing alley that all the authors were at but we couldn't go 'cause we had to get back to school :( I was bummed 'cause I got a book by Ben Mikaelsen that I could have got autographed. Oh well... it was still a lot of fun!

I'm back!

WOW!! It's been a while, hasn't it? I just forgot about this blog :-O Anyway, my mom suggested that I start blogging again, and I agree. So now I'm back... and staying!
